Perth Hindu Temple (Shri Shiva Devasthanam)
Perth's main Hindu temple — also serving the Nepali community since 1985
Perth's principal Hindu temple, officially the Shri Shiva Devasthanam, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Meenakshi. Conceived by the Hindu Association of Western Australia (HAWA) in the 1970s and completed in the mid-1980s. Perth's Nepali community joins broader Hindu celebrations here. Open daily 6 AM – 12 PM and 6 PM – 9 PM. Major puja services and priest-led ceremonies available.

Nepali-community religious body — monthly bhajan kirtan, temple land secured in Kelmscott
A registered Australian charity (ACNC) dedicated to establishing a Nepali temple and community centre in Perth. The organisation has secured land in Kelmscott for the future Pashupatinath–Bouddhanath complex. Currently operates monthly Bhajan Kirtan gatherings and other religious activities for the Perth Nepali community. Also known as Perth Nepali Mandir & Community Center.

The Astha Nepali Hindu Society of Victoria – Shree Pashupatinath Temple Incorporated, registered under the Australian Incorporation Act in April 2023. Described as the only dedicated faith-based society of the Nepalese community in Australia. The temple is named after and inspired by the revered Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, with a vision to create a sacred spiritual space for Victorian Nepali Hindus. Australian Nepalese Multicultural Centre (ANMC)
Hindu temple, Buddha Stupa and community hall on 15 acres — Diggers Rest VIC
Established in 2014, ANMC owns 15 acres in Diggers Rest and is developing a landmark Nepali community precinct incorporating a Hindu temple, a traditional Buddha Stupa, and a multipurpose community hall. The Buddha Stupa has been inaugurated and the site hosts regular cultural and religious programs. Received $385,000 in government funding. The centre aims to be Victoria's premier space for Nepali cultural preservation and interfaith religious practice.

Established 2011 — Nepali temple and Hindu religious services in Sydney
Founded in 2011 by Prakash Dhodari, the Nepalese Hindu Society of Australia is dedicated to preserving Hindu religion and enabling Nepali Australians to practise Hindu rituals. Provides a volunteer Hindu priest for ceremonies related to birth, death, marriage and all major life events. Also working toward establishing a dedicated permanent Nepali temple in Sydney. Shri Pashupati Nath Temple Sydney (SPNTS)
New Nepali community temple project — south-west Sydney
SPNTS is a non-profit organisation established in 2023 with a vision to construct a dedicated Nepali Hindu temple in south-west Sydney, where the majority of Sydney's Nepali community resides. Plans include a world-class function hall for 400+ people, a fully equipped canteen, and parking for 300+ vehicles. The temple will be dedicated to Lord Pashupatinath, mirroring the revered temple in Kathmandu. Project is in the fundraising and development phase.

Man-made cave Shiva temple — widely used by Sydney's Nepali community
Australia's only man-made cave mandir, dedicated to Lord Shiva as the 13th Jyotirlingam (Mukti-Gupteshwar Mahadev). A significant pilgrimage site used by Sydney's Nepali Hindu community, particularly for Maha Shivaratri. Open Mon–Fri 8 AM–12 PM and 4–8 PM; Sat–Sun 8 AM–8 PM. Iconic three-level hand-carved Nepali temple pagoda — South Bank Parklands
An iconic three-storey replica of a traditional Nepalese temple built with over 80 tonnes of hand-carved Nepalese timber for the 1988 World Expo. Gifted to Brisbane and relocated to its permanent home at South Bank Parklands in 1991, where it is listed on the Queensland Heritage Register. Open to visitors daily, 7:30 AM – 5 PM (no admission). A significant cultural landmark and gathering point for Brisbane's Nepali community during festivals.

Hindu community temple with Pashupatinath Shivling — Murray Bridge SA
South Australia's premier Hindu community temple, dedicated to Hanuman Ji and Shani Dev, and also housing a Pashupati Nath Shivling for Nepali devotees. Located at Monteith near Murray Bridge (approximately one hour from Adelaide CBD), the temple also operates a Gir cow Gaushala. Canberra's Hindu and Nepali community temple since 1988 — Florey ACT
Formally incorporated in April 1988, the Hindu Temple & Cultural Centre of the ACT serves the devotional, spiritual, cultural and social needs of the Hindu and Nepali communities in Canberra and the surrounding region. The Shanti Niketan facility is used for major religious events. The centre promotes understanding of Hindu teachings, philosophy and culture, and is listed on the Hamro Chautari Nepali community directory as a key Canberra religious resource.

Hobart's Hindu temple — hosts Nepali Society of Tasmania events
The Hindu Temple operated by the Hindu Society of Tasmania (HSOT) in Bridgewater, Hobart. The temple serves as the main Hindu place of worship in Tasmania and is regularly used by the Nepali community in Hobart. The Nepali Society of Tasmania partners with HSOT to host major Nepali cultural-religious events including Haritalika Teej celebrations and Dashain gatherings at this temple. Also referred to at 56 Bimburra Road, Glenorchy for some functions.
